Last night, the Missouri Senate tried and failed to pass yet another attack on hard-working families in the form of Paycheck Deception. These attacks aren’t about helping workers, they are about gutting Unions and winning political fights. UFCW Local 655 is extremely grateful to all of the lawmakers on BOTH sides of the aisle that stood against this assault on our nurses and teachers. It is important that those Senators, many of whom took part in a 4-hour-filibuster, know that we are grateful for their support.
